For a long time, I always thought GHD's were ridiculously overpriced. I used a pair of Tresemme ones that cost £30 and they seemed to do the trick.

However, after having my hair done at the hairdressers and realising what a difference GHDs made to ordinary straighteners, I completely changed my mind. I then went on to borrow my friends for a week on holiday and finally my hair stopped going curlly throughout the day. I decided that I had to have them.

Fortunately, I recieved the GHD Purple IV Limited Edition Hair Styler as a Christmas present as I really couldn't bare parting with £150.

Amazingingly when you think about how much you get in the pack, you can justify the expense. The pack contains :
- Limited edition purple GHD IV straighteners,
- Heat resistant purple GHD roll mat
- 2 GHD sectioning clips
- GHD travel hairdryer
-Instructional dvd

It comes in a glamourous purple velvet box When you open the bag it rolls out to into 2 zipped pouches, one with hair grips in and another as a heat mat. In the zipped compartments there is the straighteners and the hairdryer. Also there is an instructional dvd, which tells you how to create curls and so on.

On the straighteners, there is a light and the straightenrs beep after 30 seconds when they are ready to be used. The straighteners heat up to 230 degrees and they glide through
