Gum Salon Manic Heat Protecting Spray

I lighten my hair from mid brown to a dark blonde colour and so it is dry. My style needs to be blow dried as I don't like it flat, my daughter insists I need to take better care of my hair and thinks that part of that is using a heat protecting product on my hair before I dry it each time. This is the first heat protector I have ever tried but it seems ok, my hair feels no different but I don't actually know if it should. This spray was only cheap (especially when compared to others on the shelves!) it advises lightly spraying onto your hair before combing it through for even distribution and the drying and straightening.
