... Balsam shampoo (in all of its various "flavours"!!) is in my opinion by far the best value range of shampoos. It is usually found incredibly cheaply (Asda = 4 bottles for £3), but it leaves your hair as soft as the leading brands. The smell is also lovely, particularly the apple variety. If there is one drawback to this range, though, it is that the shampoo actually looks and feels rather synthetic in your hands, and when it is applied to your hair.
