	GHD Purple IV Limited Edition Styler Hair Straightener Gift Set ... the box does look very presentable. And the heatproof roll bag will come in handy. As will the sectioning clips. But really... GHD s straighten your hair. Seems obvious, but you really need to think about whether you actually want hair like that. Really flat, limp, poker straight. I went through the straight-hair phase, but never had GHD s, though I did want them. But they were too expensive. Looking back, I m glad. 	Babyliss 2088U ... bought these to replace another pair of Babyliss straighteners. They weren t as nice as the 2088U (cost me £20-30, can t remember how much exactly) and were a couple of years old, and one day overheated and singed my hair! After that experience I typically would shy away from the brand but I knew many people who had premium Babyliss straighteners and swore by them; Boots was luckily having a sale so I managed to buy these for 40% off. I have not been disappointed! The heat-up time is very low, and the tongs get very very hot. I have wavy Oriental hair so if straighteners do not get hot enough, my hair is likely to curl up again.
