I bought my pair of Hairtools Thermo Ceramic straighteners after deliberating over a pair of GHDs, and deciding a could not justify spending close to £100...the reviews on here helped, and now having owned my Hairtools for about 4 months, I thought I would add my own thoughts. These straighteners are absolutely amazing. With pale coloured ceramic plates measuring 2.5cm by 9cm, I was abit surprised when I opened them up and found them to be so small. But although they may be tiny, they are totally mighty! I have incredibly thick frizzy unmanageable hair, and have been through the Babyliss "straight and shine with a shot of steam", followed by ...

I love these straighteners! When I was looking to buy ceramic straighteners I wasn't sure if I should buy these or not. The reason I doubted them was that they are really cheap compared to other ceramic straighteners on the market, so I was quite vary of them being effective. But I wasn't prepared to pay £80+ for ghd and the reviews I'd read were excellent, so I just went for it! I've never looked back since. I bought mine from www.retailjunky.com. Last year my friend at work brought in her Charles Worthington Straighteners as she was out on the tiles that night. She has a caucasian afro, but these straighteners were really effective on her hair with the big plates straightening a big section of hair. So that evening I went down to Boots and bought a pair of my own. They were fine for a couple of months, but soon, flaws started to show.
