Well there's certainly no ' Harmony' in my household if my beloved can of Harmonys gone missing! (usually because my 17 year old daughter has pinched it and it's lost in her mountain of a mess of a bedroom)
I totally rely on this hairspray because absolutely nothing else holds and fixes my hair into place like Harmony does.
**Firm, Medium Dry, and doesn't cover you in sticky wetness**
Harmony isn't the dryest of hairsprays (like Elnet), neither is it the wettest (like Bristows). It's blast from the can is firm and dry and sprays to one particular area of the hair, and lands on the hair, rather than showering you in wetness from head to arms. If that makes sense?!
**Where can I buy Harmony?**
I try and bulk buy mine from our nearest citys poundland as its so much cheaper than my local Tesco which is the other place I know to stock it. Sometimes our local chemist has it as well. Tesco is £2.30 a can, and the chemist £1.99, so obviously poundland is the cheapest! I do tend to pay out in Tesco if haven't had chance to get to the city. I don't like having to pay over £2 for it, but I'd rather pay that, than £2 for a hairspray that's just not going to do the job I want it to.
As already mentioned, it's the best for my hair. My hair is in a short style and fine. It requires washing and blow drying on a daily basis and a little bit of backcombing to achieve some volume on top, followed my hairspray.
Guarantee if I don't do this, I'm definately sporting a pancake head. I really do need to go through this routine daily to don a semi decent hairstyle. Fortunately it doesn't take long to do and thanks to my hairspray, my hairs not moving anywhere out of place too easily! Don't get me wrong, my hair does ' move' and doesn't look stiff as a brush, but if theres a bit of a breeze, its not going to be back to a pancake head asap. That's the beauty of Harmony!
At 36 years old, I've been messing with my hair for years. I've tried many a different hairspray and not had many favourites at all to be honest. Bristows is a hairspray I can't stand as it irritates my skin and is sticky and wet, and Silvikrin besides expensive is also one of those ' wet' hairsprays.
I don't mess with my hair at all during the day thanks to this hairspray. I do it on a morning before work, and my hair is still in place 8 hours later, after work. With regards to washing or brushing out. It's not at all sticky, doesn't leave white bits in your hair, and if you brush it out, your hair still feels as nice as it does when you've washed it.
I always opt for firm hold or ultra firm hold. I don't think anything lighter would hold my hair as its too fly away.
Another good point is that it doesnt damage your hair because it has conditioner built in. Hair looks natural and not stiff and on a final point, the smell of the hairspray is one of the most pleasant I've smelt. Not that I make a habit of breathing in hairspray fumes, but you definately shouldn't be choking or tasting this hairspray in the back of your mouth with Harmony.
Summary: Definately great for fine flyaway hair or hair that needs fixing into position
