Advantages: Fights dandruff and cleans greasy/oily hair

Disadvantages: Stings like mad if you get some in your eyes

When I was a young teenager I did start to suffer with a little dandruff and good old mum started to purchase Head and Shoulders which is probably one of the best known anti dandruff shampoos on the market and has been for a while. From the time I started using it until now I can really say that I never seem to have any trouble with dandruff whatsoever and so the brand really does live up to its claims. I have used the original and menthol varieties and most recently I have been using the type known as citrus fresh.

This version of the classic shampoo is very similar in its dandruff fighting ability to the other two I have tried; the only real differences are that the colour of the product seems to be off white whereas the classic version is light blue. Also the label on the bottle reflects the scent of the shampoo with it featuring two sliced lemons sliding down some kind of green lime coloured waterfall. The lid for the bottle is at the top which I think makes it more difficult to extract the remaining product when the supply is getting low, I like it when the lid to access the liquid is at the bottom as then any dregs can run down and be squeezed out easily when it is time to use it.

To use this you obviously squeeze out a small amount on to your hand and then gently massage it in to your hair and then rinse thoroughly, you can repeat this process but I tend to do it just the once, this product will last a fair while if you use it sparingly. Like I said previously this brand really does fight dandruff which is fantastic as I think this problem does look unsightly and can be very embarrassing for an individual who suffers and struggles with it. In addition to this characteristic you are also left with the fresh citrus smell in your hair which is very pleasant and I think this is suitable for male or female humans. Johnson's shampoo this isn't though and if you get any in your eye it will sting like crazy so be careful and if that does happen wash and rinse your eyes thoroughly.

A 250ml bottle of this currently costs £2.44 on the Tesco website and it is such a good method for fighting dandruff, cleansing greasy and oily hair that I wholeheartedly recommend it.
