Advantages: Easy, Quick, Manly
Disadvantages: Bit of a Whiff
Firstly I should say that the Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 anti-dandruff shampoo I use doesn't have the bottle pictured next to this review. I'm pretty sure that's because it's an old bottle pictured though as it's definitely the same as the product I use even if mine has a more recent bottle design.
I've been using this shampoo for many years now as my motto with these things has always been "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I used to get a little bit of dandruff years ago but I've not seen any in a few years now. Okay, it might be that I no longer get it - but who wants to find out?! If the shampoo I'm using leaves me dandruff-free, then that's all that matters. And I do know for sure that I had it when I first starting use this brand.
This 2in1 is particularly good for blokes I think as most of us don't like to spend too much time faffing around in the shower of a morning. Even my teen lad, who's a self-confessed tart, doesn't spend more than five minutes in the actual shower. We're a practical species by nature like that I think (even if some of us then spend 20 minutes styling our hair - not me, the boy). Anyway, being a 2in1 means that you don't need to shampoo and condition your hair separately - one of blob of this stuff does it all.
It's really good at lathering up which I like but it whiffs a little bit of medication too which I'm not so keen on. That said, I'm happier smelling like I've got clean hair than dodgy floral or mango and passionfruit hair. What would the lads at work have to say about THAT? So a quick lather up, rinse out - and presto, I've got clean hair that doesn't smell like I've just pinched the wife's Herbal Essences.
This is a really good price at about £2.50 per bottle and a bottle shared between my son and I lasts about two months each. So I think that's good value. You don't need to use loads each time because it lathers easily plus it's a cheap price to pay for all that time-saving you do (and the water you save too - eh?). I recommend this stuff for no-nonsense blokes who get a little or have had a little dandruff in the past and want something quick and easy to wash their hair in.
Four stars from me - it loses one star for being a bit whiffy. You can get this from loads of different supermarkets and chemists.
Summary: Halve Your Shower Time
