If like me you wake up in the morning and want to feel refreshed, you hop into the shower with the bottles of shampoo all laid out like a supermarket.
We have so many different shampoos in our shower, it would make your head spin.
From this, I can say, I am a shampoo conoisseur. I mean, I know what im talking about when it somes to massaging the stuff into my scalp.
Now I have always had a shower every mornig since I can remember.
Because of this, my hair is used to being washed.
So I need a shampoo that can perform various functions.
My Shampoo needs to be:

Gentle enough to not irritate my sensitive scalp.
Medicated enough to keep dandruff at bay.
Harsh enough to get out all of yesterday's Gel.
Soft enough not to strip my hair of its natural oils too much.
Nicely scented.
Reasonably priced.

I have often found 2 in 1 shampoos as either not strong enough to clean your hair (too much conditioner) or to strong and like using a simple bottle of cheap shampoo (too much shampoo).

With 2 in 1 Head and Shoulders, its different. It is exactly what I need.
It meets all my requirements to a tee.

Here is how it suits me.

Gentle Enough...

I bleached my hair about 5 years ago and it was a "home" job. Yes I had White hair but boy did my head suffer. It really did some damage to my scalp. It burnt it!
Ever since, I have a really itchy head when I play sport due to sweating and it gets quite red still.
Not only this but it obviously suffers from dandruff as a result of my scratching and loosening skin. Dont mean to sound gross here!

With Head and Shoulders, it is gentle enough not to irritate it any further. Its medicated formula prevents it from doing the damage that other, more harsh shampoos can do.
I use Redken shampoo as an example.
Redken is available from good hairdressers in your area but it is fa
r too harsh.

Due to my experiments with the bleach, my constant washing and the general problems of a flaky head, Dandruff can be a problem.
Not only is it embarassing it is also unsightly.
What is it?
Dandruff is a problem that we should not be embarassed about. It is actually a medical skin condition that affects your scalp.
It causes a flaking of the skin from your head and can also lead to itching and dry patches on your scalp. These can become tender from scarthcing.
The thing is we all lose shin form our heads. Its our body's natural way of cleansing itself.The thing with Dandruff is the flakes are larger and more noticable as it is at a much quicker rate.

So you need a medicated solution to your flaky head.

There are other products on the market such as Vosene. We used to use this as kids but it is harsh on the eyes! Get it in your peepers and you will know about it.
Vosene also has an unpleasant smell and its, well, Brown in colour!

Not my favourite.

Head and shoulders 2 in 1 on the other hand is medicated enough to get to work on your head, to soothe it and to rid you of your dandruff problem.
Not only will it rid you of dandruff but used continously, it will keep it at bay forever.

The shampoo in my house has a tough job. It has to rid my locks of the many products I put on my head every day. Depending on my style, It can range from Gel to Wax to Hairspray.
So it needs to give my hair a good going over and get it clean.
Head and shoulders has the cleansing power to do this while being gentle enough not to wash away my whole life.

It does not strip my hair but it always feels clean afterwards. I think it is the in-built conditioner that makes it feel like it has not been stripped.
There is no worse feeling
than stripped hiar. I liken this feeling to washing your hair with soap.

The thing about medicated shampoos normally is the smell. They smell strange. Vosene is the biggest culprit.
You can get nice smelling shampoos that make you smell lovely but they are not going to make your head any better or rid you of dandruff.
Head and shoulders combines the 2. Its sweet smelling enough to use and it does its job at clearing Dandruff.
Top marks to it.
It is also Pearlescent Blue in colour. Very nice. Much better than the Browns of Vosene and the Whites of Timotee

Being in the under £3 bracket does not limit its market share. The bigger names shampoos produced by the Hairdressing houses of the world (Nicky Clarke, Paul Mitchell,Redken) are all up in the £6 a bottle region.
Chea does not always mean it is not good.
To me its the best shampoo on the market.

Take 2 bottles into the shower?
Not anymore. Not with my 2 in 1 Head and Shoulders.
