Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp

I have always had a battle with dry scalp and was losing. The last few weeks, it was getting out of control and hard to conceal. It was such a problem that I had to find a good weapon against it and fast.

I had tried many different products and not any working well enough. I had never actually never given any notice to any products that say it is for dry scalp. I had heard of many of them on adverts on the television but never thought about buying them as my friends don't use them and they are usually quite pricey.

When I got to the shop's shampoo lane,Something caught my eye. It was Head & Shoulders Normal and Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp for normal or dry hair on special offer. I knew they had been around for quite some time but I didn't buy them as they would have been expensive but I seen it on special offer so I tried it (when it's not on special offer, it is still cheap).

After reading both product labels I settled on the Dry Scalp formula. As it said it would solve my problem I bought 2 as it was buy one get one free.

The bottles held 15.2 oz. so it should last me and for that price it was well worth it. It only takes a small bit to get a good lather going. I wash my hair every second day or when I play some sport.

With all the different kinds I have tried, I have never used one that makes my hair so soft. It is so soft, it is quite hard to gel it but if you blow dry the gel it hardens and gives you a great long lasting hold.

Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp has a patented, clinically-proven formula (or so it says in the advert). It is supposed to balance your scalps natural moisture and stop it from flakeing. After using this for about a fortnight, I noticed that it wasn't itchy and didn't flake as badly as it did before. Now that I constantly use this shampoo, the flakeing has stopped.

The special formula is designed to clean and lightly cond
ition the hair and to leave it soft, shiny and manageable. Manageability might be good for a blow and go hair style. It is easier to manage your hair the day after washing it.

Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp is formulated so that it is gentle enough to use everyday, even on permed or color-treated hair. It is also PH balanced.

The directions for use is to wet hair and message shampoo onto scalp. Rinse and repeat if desired. They suggest that for best results you should use at least twice a week or as directed by a doctor. For maximum dandruff control you should use every time you shampoo.

The active ingredient is 1 % Pyrithione zinc. Inactive ingredients are water, ammonium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauroyl, sarcosinate, glycol distearate, sodium sulfate, frangrance, dimethicone, dmdm hydantion, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium phosphate, lauryl alcohol, Peg-600, polyquaternium-10 and FDC blue #1. There is a warning on the label. This product is for external use only so should be kept out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes. I know what they mean after a few stupid incidents! If you should happen to get this in your eyes, you should rinse eyes thoroughly with warm water. If the condition for which you are using this product worsens or does not improve after regular use then you should consult a physician.

The container comes with a small flip top that makes dispensing the product very easy. The shampoo is a white semi thick lotion. The opening is not very big thus making it easier to control the amount you squrit out. The container is plastic so no worry if you should drop it in the shower or tub.

There is a use by date on the bottom of the container. With two people using this it is easy top use it all before the expirey date.

When the big special offer sign caught my eye and I decided to try it, I haven't regretted since. <
