I requested a free sample of head and shoulders menthol anti dandruff shampoo before the summer holidays. I like these free samples to take on hols, as they are small east to pack.
I just went to the freebie website and the offer seems to have finished.

A full sized bottle of head and shoulders is obtainable at most places that stock shampoo to sell.
Head and shoulders price was £1.75 for a 200 ml bottle and £3.95 for a 500ml last time I looked in tesco?s.

Head and shoulders is packaged in a white plastic straight sided thin bottle no curves. The label on the menthol one has green swirls on it and the information that it is anti dandruff gives the assurances that it immediately starts working on the dandruff and leaves your hair clean and manageable.

Opening the flip top lid I have a sniff, there is a mild distinctive menthol smell a clean smell. I squeeze the bottle a small amount onto my palm. The shampoo is a pale blue?y white with a creamy consistency, which is good.

As with all shampoos add it to your wet hair. Not too much shampoo is needed to create lather.

While washing my hair with this shampoo my head felt good. The shampoo rinsed out easily.
After drying my hair felt soft, was fairly easy to brush and did look fairly good. Better than some other shampoos but not all.
My hair smelt very slightly after for a little while not unpleasant but clean.

I cannot comment on the antidandruff effect as I do not have dandruff but I have heard reports from other people that it is fairly good.

I will possibly buy this sometimes when I want to try an alternative to my regular shampoo.
