Advantages: Smells nice, Gives soft shiny hair, Gets rid of dandruff

Disadvantages: Can cause irratation

Head and Shoulders Menthol comes in either a 200ml or 400ml, white plastic bottle. It's not a paticularly attractive bottle, it has a blue lid and the head and shoulders logo on the front, with some writing informing the consumer that it is an anti-dandruff shampoo.

Head and shoulders menthol is very good value for money, its usually only about £1.50-£2 for a 200ml bottle and £3 for a 400ml bottle. It's availible from almost every chemist, supermarket or highstreet store, such as boots and superdrug. A 200ml bottle can last quite a while. Me and my father both use it and we only have to buy a new bottle around once every 4-5 weeks.

I've been using head and shoulders for over a year now and menthol out of all of their shampoos is definitely my favourite. It smells absolutely gorgeous and totally refreshing. While washing my hair it lathers up well and a little can go a long way. It is also very easy to rinse out.

Its promise to get rid of dandruff is a promise well kept. My father, who suffers from dandruff, began using this product and within about 3 weeks of usage, once every other day, his dandruff had reduced to non-existent. But head and shoulders cannot promise that you'll be dandruff free for life, you have to continue using it in order to keep those white flakes away.

I have very long hair and in order to keep it in good condition I have to have a shampoo that can offer me a caring and conditioning service. Even though head and shoulder menthol isnt a conditioning shampoo I found that just after one usage it left my hair soft, smooth, shiney and knot free. Perfect!

There are a variety of shampoos in the head and shoulders range which are also avalible from the same stores and for the same price. So if menthol isnt your thing you could try out something different and still get soft, smooth, dandruff free hair.

One downside to this product is like the majority of other shampoos if it gets in
your eyes it can cause an irritation. Head and shoulders has a warning about this on the back of their bottle advising you to rinse your eyes thoroughly with water or if the irritation does persist to consult a doctor.

Luckily I've never suffered with dandruff although I've had a fair few free bottles of this stuff in my time.
