My scalp was feeling a little itchy, and my suit was going a little white, so I thought it was time I went to my local supermarket and bought myself some anti-dandruff shampoo. I thought of Head & Shoulders because I had seen an advert announcing it's new look.

So because of it's bright packaging and memorable ad, I picked up a pack of 2 in 1 shampoo. i took it home, and went to bed that night. The next morning, I had to be up early. So I got up at 5:30 - extra early - and decided I would wash my hair.

I followed the instructions - very simple - just place on your palm and lather, then rinse. I did this twice, as my hair was particularly unhealthy. So then I washed the rest of my body and got out the shower. And suddenly I felt very uncomfortable. All my body began to itch, and I scratched like mad for about 10 minutes.

So I got dressed in the end, still itching, and went to my office. I hadn't had a haircut for a while, and I was on my own in the office. My long hair began to swish in to my face, and I was met by this huge shower of dandruff. I thought npthing of it, and decided to wash my hair again.

So, the next day, I did the same - had a wash and washed my hair, and I itched again. All over - face and everything. It's extremely uncomfortable. And the same thing happened in the office - more dandruff this time. I thought that the shampoo might be trying to get rid of all the dandruff before forming the 'protective layer.'

So I went to the toilet and swished my hair around for about ten minutes, and, at last, it began to stop coming out my head. I would do anything to get rid of this discomfort I am going through - I can not sit still in a chair for five minutes - it is very irritating.

I felt a bit guilty at Christmas when there was no snow - I knew that I could have created some - perhaps even a hugee blizzard. With it's chemical smell, H&S leaves your hair feeling nice and
disgusting and you generally in discomfort.

Not recommendable unless you want greasy hair, an itchy body and extra-high dandruff production. Keep away from it and it's probably best to go and speak to your doctor about allergic reactions etc. before trying products like this out.

Summary:
