Advantages: May suit people with thick hair as it is quite heavy.

Disadvantages: Doesn't suit fine hair and after thorough rinsing felt heavy and my hair felt lank.

I have to admit, I borrowed some of my boyfriends Head & Shoulders shampoo as my girly shampoo was running low...the shampoo was brilliant, it frothed up well, and after I rinsed my hair it felt really clean. Once my hair had dried, my hair felt very smooth, and was very easy to comb.

Following this success, I decided to buy Head & Shoulders conditioner and try it out. Unfortunately, despite my high hopes it didn't suit my hair at all...

I followed the instructions and used the shampoo as before, then I used the conditioner, it smelt fine and I smoothed it into my hair and rinsed it thoroughly.

Once my hair was dry, it felt like there was alot of product in my hair (despite rinsing thoroughly), and my hair also felt quite lank. The one good thing was my hair didn't get tangled or frizzy afterwards.

Overall, I think this conditioner might be better for someone with thicker hair, as mine is quite fine and doesn't need a heavy conditioner. I was disappointed as the shampoo suited my hair so well, and the conditioner didn't. I couldn't comment on whether or not it prevents dandruff as I don't get dandruff, and still have most of the bottle sat on my bathroom shelf!!

Summary: Disappointed it wasn't as good as the shampoo!
