Advantages: DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE LABEL

Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE

Sometimes it's hard to admit you have a problem but hear I go from time to time I suffer from dandruff. I could say that I know all about the science of dandruff and why some people get it and others don't, but I haven't got a clue. So when they go on about now time for the science bit on TV ads for any shampoo or beauty product I switch off.

Anyway in my time with dandruff I have used several different anti-dandruff shampoos none who's name I can remember but they have usually been the shops own brand. They have been cheap and cheerful but usually not very effective after a couple of washes.

However the latest anti dandruff shampoo I have used is the Head and Shoulders Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. I have to admit I have used to use this shampoo a few years ago when there was still a stigma (well in my eyes) about having dandruff. I used to go into the chemist because in those days the big supermarkets usually just sold food wearing a balaclava and comedy glasses so no one could recognise me and sneak out the shampoo in a black bin bag. Back then the old head and shoulders shampoo was okay but nothing special and came in a rather uninspiring container.

The latest version of Head and Shoulders Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo comes in a really nice shaped bottle especially the large bottle which I am currently using and is well designed.

So the million dollar question is it any good, well the answer to that for me is yes and no. The shampoo for me is certainly effective at doing what its says on the label and gets rid of dandruff. Though the down side to that is that the more I use it the more it irritates my scalp. I am not to sure why that is so I try to alternate now between using a normal shampoo and Head and Shoulders which seems to have helped.
I know its my own fault but I have also found that when you get Head and Shoulders Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo in your eyes (which for me is every time I use it) it kills your eyes, you feel like you've got hot pokers in your eyes which is made worse when you try and wash out your eyes and get more shampoo in them.
Also the smell of the shampoo is really boring and in my opinion they should add a nice aromatic smell to it so even if you're half blinded after using it you would have lovely smelling dandruff free hair. Also in this time of the credit crunch Head and Shoulders Sensitive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is very expensive shampoo .

Summary: GOOD SHAMPOO SHAME ABOUT THE PRICE

Although you say it's expensive, you don't actually give a price.
