I was not happy with this product. I have been dying my hair since I was 13 (8 years now!) and have probably tried every dye under the sun, but this one did not not satify me at all!

It states on the box that it is easy to use. Well, credit to them, it was easy to apply but they don't tell you that it takes you over 20 mins to rinse off! Normally, with any other brand of dye, it will take me between 5 and 10 mins for the water to run clear but on this occasion I did'nt think it would ever come clear.

Once I had finished, I blow dried my hair and was happy with the result of the colour, it was a lot brighter than I thought it would be (I used a burgandy one), but I liked it all the same. My hair was shining and I almost forgot about the length of time it took me to rinse off. That was until I went to the pub. It was raining hard outside and we did'nt have an umbrella. Once we got inside the pub my friends erupted into laughter, dye had run down my face and I quickly had to run to the loo to wipe it off! I was shocked as the water was definitely clear when I rinsed it off.

The next day (after many jokes at my expense!) I had a bath. I sat in the bath, lapping the water around me and dunked my head under water. When I emerged, I thought I was suddenly bleeding to death but soon realised it wasn't me that was bleeding, it was my hair (again!). I could'nt enjoy my bath after that, there's something about sitting in red water that's not very appealing!

Within 3 weeks the colour had dissapeard completley, what part of the word PERMANENT dont Herbal Essances understand????!!!!

I wish now that I had complained but I did'nt so I am writing this warning to you all - don't bother!

I don't know what the darker colours are like, I only tried the burgandy one, but if that is anything to go by, I will never waste my money on this product ever again!
