About eighteen months ago, i had the worst experience of my life. I had never tryed to dye my own hair, so i went into town one saturday afternooon, and brought my self a hair dye. It was a herbal essance permanent hair colour. I thought that i should buy one that was not cheap, as it would be the first time i had coloured my hair. Later on that night i looked through the instructions provided and then applied the colour. Everything looked like it was going to plan, untill i felt this really bad stinging sensation. I put up with it for a few minutes untill i could not stand it any longer, I then rushed up the stairs and rinsed it out. I was horrified at what i was seeing all of my hair was falling out in big clumps,I didn't know what to do. I telephoned mt mother who rushed straight round, By the time she arrived i could not see, my eyes felt like i had been i a fight with mike tyson. My mother rushed me to the hospital were i later stayed for the next five days. I had lost all of my hair and my self confidence. I didn't go out of the house untill some weeks later, as my face was twice the size it usally was. I felt like the elephant man. My hair has now grown back, but it is not the same as it was, It is really thin now. When i contacted herbal essences they told me that there was nothing they could do, because they advise everybody to do a skin tests before using their product. I did not agree with this so i went out and bought an identical colour, to my amasement they do advise you to do skin tests in their instructions. So please take this advice and always do a skin test, because i would hate anyone else to go through what i have been through.
