... There is the Herbal Essences branding and a purple stripe which says 'Normal Hair' under this it says 'Refreshing, Shampoo plus conditioner' in small white writing. On the back are the usual promises of gorgeous hair, this one claims to be 'infused with the extracts of lavender, jasmine and aloe vera that come to us in pure mountain spring water' Sounds very posh and promising! I wanted to take a break from book reviews for a bit, so here I am, writing about shampoo. It’s rather nice shampoo, though, so that’s okay :) Unfortunately, to be able to tell you about this Herbal Essences stuff, I’m going to have to confess to my previous hair-care routine. No, not fairy liquid – the even greater shame of (shhhh!) Wash and Go. There, I’ve said it now. Don’t think too badly of me, will you? I used W&G for years, and it didn’t seem to do my hair any harm. But I’ve been hearing all these tales of ‘build up’ of ‘residue’ that this kind of stuff leaves in your hair, and ...  Read the complete review

I bought this to take on my holiday (1 week on Sunday, can't wait!) At home I usually use seperate shampoos and conditioners but I always end up taking so many lotions and potions on holiday a 2 in 1 like this saves a bit of room! The bottle also seems quite small, definitely enough for a weeks holiday though. Its 200ml, a nice dinky size that won't take up too much room in my already bulging toiletries bag. I got this for a bargain price too, 99p from my local Bodycare shop. I've used Herbal essences before and always been pleased with the results so thought i'd give this a try. Now you're probably wondering how i'm going to review it if ...  Read the complete review

Q: Right then, here we go. So, tell me the name of this product which you are reviewing. A: It’s called ‘Herbal Essences 2-in-1 Moisture-Balancing Shampoo for Normal Hair.’ Q: Bit of a mouthful, that! Who makes it? A: It’s made by Clairol, which is a trademark of a company called Bristol-Myers Co Ltd, of Uxbridge, UK. Q: Okay…now, you said ‘2-in-1’. What does that mean, exactly? A: As well as being an excellent shampoo, the product also contains a light conditioner, which will leave you hair feeling soft and manageable, as well as imparting a healthy shine. Q: So, no need to ...  Read the complete review

These were on offer in Sainsburys last month for buy one get one free so I decided to try them. I hate to use shampoo and then conditioner if I can help it, so I like to buy 2 in 1 mixes to save time in the shower. This sounded great with jasmine as part of the blend as I love the smell of jasmine so I was happy to use these. The shampoo lathers in really well and a small blob is all that is needed to create a good lather. I have shoulder length hair now and a blob of shampoo about the size of a 50p piece was adequate. The shampoo was really easy to wash out and it didn't leave any residue, and my hair was also very easy to brush after a ...  Read the complete review
