I bought this shampoo after I notced that Herbsl Essences had redesigned their bottles. I thoguht these bottles were a lot more funky and fresh, with a younger image than the previous bottles, which gave me quite a good image of the product at first glance. I also noticed that there were several different ones you could pick depending on what result you wanted. I think having this sort of selection is more interesting that just picking a shampoo for either dry, normal or greasy hair.

At first I noticed the one for curly hair and picked it up, however, I already have a lot of tried and tested products I use to manage my curls, so I didn't really think I needed that on, so i went for this dazzling shine one instead, as my hair is rarely what you'd call shiny.

I thought that the bottle was quite small - there were two sizes to pick from but I didn't want to get the bigger one incase i didn't like it.

The first time I used it I thought that it smelt quite nice and lathered up well. It wasn't a particularly amazing or unusual smell but it was pleasant and quite strong - quite a fruity smell but fresh, not too sweet. The shampoo felt quite nice and it was quite easy to sitribute around my scalp. It produced quite a dense lather in my thick curly hair which I really likes, although it took a while to rinse out.

After using the shampoo and drying my hair, I didn't really think that my hair was any more shiny, but it was very soft and smelt lovely and fresh. My hair is quite coarse and it does take a lot to make it shine, so I think that maybe for someone with straight or finer hair they would notice the shine more. I didn't expect this to be a miracle product and suddenly make my hair shine unlike the hundreds of other products I have tried!

Overall I would buy this shampoo again as I do like it, but it didn't particularly give my hair 'dazzling shine'.
