Advantages: A good economical shampoo for creating shine

Until two weeks ago my hair was a shoulder length bob,then an impulse transformed it into a very short elfin style !
Its very different and I love it,but it means that my hair really needs to look well nourished and conditioned to get the best from the style.
I have bought shampoo from the Herbal Essences range many times before,but had never tried this shampoo.
I had never realised that 10 % of the natural weight of our hair is water !
So obviously the amount of water we drink is not only crucial for our skin,but adds shine to our hair too.

The shampoo has a blend of Ocean botanics (Hawaiian Hibiscus and Coconut Extract )and has been formulated to help dry and damaged hair.
When you take the cap off of the bottle the thick ocean blue liquid smells richly of coconut .
I only needed to use a little to work up a really good rich lather.
Using this deep nourishment formula hydrates the hair and adds sheen.
I only washed my hair once,as its short now it just didn't need another wash.
The coconut aroma was really strong!..but pleasant ,the Hibiscus smell remained in the background.
The lather rinsed off quickly and easily,and I towel dried my hair before leaving it to dry naturally.
The result was as promised,my hair had a high shine,it looked healthy and felt soft.
Overall a very pleasing result.
The shampoo would be economical to use as a family shampoo,and a bottle will go a long way.
Available from all leading chemists and supermarkets it costs around £2.98 for a 400 ml bottle.

Summary: A very pleasant smelling shampoo,nourishing and conditioning.
