Advantages: 1st wash nourishment
Disadvantages: It has coconut.. not that you can smell it
For a long time I have stuck to the same shampoo because of the usual reasons, price, smell, what it did to my hair and I felt need of a change because my hair was becoming a little dull regardless of any conditioner I used so I decided to switch..
I tried lots of shampoos and they fell short of my expectations a lot of the time..
However this one has exceeded everything I expected because it is just so fabulous!
~~ Why did I chose this shampoo? ~
Urm to be honest I picked this shampoo because I knew I needed something to help try and reduce the damage I had already done to my hair.. I also fancied something fruity that might outweigh the smell of burnt hair that usually occurs from blow drying and straightening.. Which I'm sure most of you ladies and some men are more than aware of!!
Plus to be honest I had a few hours until my boyfriend was due to come over and obviously I felt a need to be well looking clean and presentable.. Even though it was a Sunday!!
~~ What is this shampoo meant to do ~~
Well it is the Deep Nourishment and Shine shampoo, which to me means that, damage that has been done to your hair is nourished to give it a healthier glow and shimmer.. The bottle actually says something similar in the shape of reviving the shine of your hair.. Which is a good thing after months of torture..!
~~ The smell and texture ~~
Well let me open the bottle and see.. The first smell that hits you is the deep fruity scent which is undoubtedly going to be very obvious after washing your hair.. The coconut present is hardly noticeable as to be honest I am not a big coconut fan.. It just tastes and smells odd..
The texture of the shampoo is thick but not too thick that it doesn't lather.. This shampoo once rubbed into your head lathers really well and fills the shower with a gorgeous smell and as you wash it out even without the conditioner you can tell the shampoo has made your hair more nourished, smooth and even textured..
~~ Price ~~
At the moment a 400ml bottle of the shampoo is £2 in asda which is a bit of a bargain..
In Tesco the 250ml bottle is £2.19 or over £3 for the 400ml bottle..
However Superdrug is your best bet for the moment as they are doing buy on get on free on these products so you can get the shampoo and conditioner for £2.69..
~~ My opinion ~~
From someone who religiously used my L'oreal shampoo I am a convert, the smell just makes the product worth buying alone.. Regardless of the fact that it does your hair a wonder of good.. From the first wash my hair was smoother, less static and looked healthier.. I was really impressed with the result.. I am going to keep using this product because on my hair it seems to make my hair stay straight longer which is a blessing as I can't be bothered to keep straightening it every time it becomes a bit wavy again..
Summary: Well recommended for hair that needs a boost..
