For a while now I have been using Herbal Essences Ignite my colour shampoo and when I use a particular brand of shampoo I like to use the accompanying conditioner to go with it. They always say that for best results use with Herbal Essences Ignite My Colour Shampoo and vice versa so I always like to use them together although the shampoo gets used up much more quickly than the conditioner so I always have to buy more bottles of shampoo when I buy conditioner.

Herbal Essences describe this conditioner as such, "I'll re-light your fire for Coloured hair. My creamy formula, with acai berry and silk extracts, loves coloured hair and enhances its vibrancy." The conditioner comes in the same type of packaging as the shampoo, a pink bottle with the words Ignite my colour on it so when you pick up both the shampoo and conditioner you know that you have a matching pair.

The conditioner is really easy to use. It is quite thick and creamy in consistency and when I apply it to my hair I can really feel it coating my hair and as soon as its on practically it seems to make it smooth and sleek already before I have even smoothed it through all my hair. The conditioner is a light pink colour. After I shampoo my hair, with the Ignite my colour shampoo of course, I apply the conditioner and try and work it through my hair so I get quite an even coverage and make sure that all of my hair is being conditioned. Then I like to leave it on for quite a few minutes so it can really work its magic. After that I rinse it out and I find it really easy to rinse out.

When I get out of the shower I find my hair is really easy to comb through and the tangles are all gone thanks to this conditioner so I find that even wet, it makes my hair smooth and silky and easy to manage. Once my hair is dry its nice and soft and not fly away. I think my hair has definitely benefited from using this conditioner and shampoo mix. Yes, my roots still come through on my hair but this seems to take a bit longer which is nice and the blond also stays brighter for longer and does not get so dull quickly.

The smell is amazing as well and stays on my hair for quite a while during the day so its nice to have a nice smell. Its a mixture of moroccan rose & passion fruit extracts and smells lovely and fresh and fruity/floral. I buy my conditioner in the 400ml size which costs just £1.74. This will last well over a month so its definitely good value and a conditioner I recommend.
