Advantages: Lovely elegant can, easy to use, gives great and lasting results

Disadvantages: None I have come across thus far

When it comes to hairspray it's not one of my most favourite purchases to make though since I've had a bob cut I find I need it more than I ever did when I had long hair to hold my style in place, keep frizz in it's place and basically hold my style together however as it's not a product I actually relish buying I leave it till the last minute to buy any more and I really do try spend out on one usually to get the best results. I saw this in Boots and paid £4.88 for a 250ml can (the largest size this is available to purchase in and there was a also a mini size of this which is a 75ml size available to buy at £1.95) and a it's not really mini and in my view offers great value for money and because it's slim easy to put in the bottom of your handbag ladies!

The Packaging....

Long white cylinder can with white plastic lid that covers a simple push button sprayer to the top of it. On the front I'm told it's JB, James Brown London Hairspray in dark grey writing. On the back I'm told a little about the product, directions for using it and ingredients are listed, cautions are given and the size is stated as is the recycle symbol and finally there is a bar-code on there. Very sleek and stylish looking can this is suitable for men in women alike in it's appearance.

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Can....

Hairspray is like jewellery - the finishing touch to perfect your style. This ultra fine mist will hold hair in place while still allowing it to move and it brushes out easily. Create volume by spraying onto fingertips and working into the roots.

Me Using It...

Well I use this on my finished style and easy to use... this is! I simply spray it onto my hair as directed and out shoots a clear mist as promised and it's very easy to direct where you want it and it gives even coverage if sprayed at arms length in a very light and unsticky way.

Smell wise well it's lovely light and fresh and none distinctive. Not at all feminine this is totally unisex and once sprayed on the hair and lived with that smell evaporates within an hour anyway but as I say whilst it's on hair it's very nice anyway!

I find it to gently control my style and keep frizz at bay whilst not making my hair at all sticky and giving it a nice, glossy satin sheen appearance. It doesn't (as promised) constrict natural movement but it does gently control you hair into style until brushed out (which it does easily once again).

Overall....

Not only great to finish a style with this is great to work with on dry hair to create oomph that lasts. I have fine hair and I like to put a roller to my crown and spray this on it and it''s really good at not only making hair more bouncy but keeping it this way. Once sprayed on the effects are long lasting and really... this is simply a great quality product as is are all the other James Brown products I've ever tried!

Recommended by me! I've only ever seen this on sale in Boots but if you google it online you may be able to grab a bargain!

Summary: A really great straightforward hairspray!
