I have never been a prolific user of hairspray other than when I have to use it for work for a particular style or look however when I do have to use it for my own hair outside of work I tend to opt for this good quality product from James Brown London. Available from Boots it only costs around £5 for a 250ml can of spray which given that I do not use it very often means that I get a good amount of use out of a can in terms of time.

It comes in a simple white container with a standard spray on top which is easy to operate and delivers an even amount of spray which is easy to control.

What I like about this spray is that it is not very sticky at all and therefore leaves my hair feeling smoother to the touch than when I have used other sprays. It also has hardly any smell to it as well which is another plus in my opinion. There isa subtle sort of fresh smell to it but not very noticeable at all.

If you are looking for a simple and effective hair spray then I would recommend this, it does not have the firmist of holds and therefore would not be suitable for all styles however for me it works really well.
