Advantages: Suitable for all hair types, Conditions Well

Disadvantages: Lack of Smell, Price

I'm totally addicted to anything with Aloe Vera extract & Mint in it. So you can imagine my delight when I came across this shampoo, which contains both.

The shampoo is part of the 'beach blonde' range but I thought I'd give it go despite being a brunette. The shampoo lathers really well and leaves your hair very soft and pretty much tangle free. This is a huge bonus for someone like me who suffers from really tangle ridden fine hair. It was also a light enough formula to leave my greasy hair slick free for the whole day.

Unfortunately I found the smell & 'feel' of the mint to be disappointing. For someone who use Original Source mint shampoo on occasions which give you a huge whiff of peppermint and a pleasantly tingley scalp. I found both of these factors were lacking in the 'Cool Dip' product. Of course if you are not after a particularly heavily scented shampoo then this is ideal.

Priced at £4.00 this is not the cheapest shampoo around, and as I would say it is very average in it's claims (smells minty fresh etc) I would save the money and buy something cheaper instead.

I've tried this one out too and was quite pleased with the results.

If you really want a shampoo that smells minty and has the 'scalp tingle' factor give "Hair Repair Thickening Shampoo" by St.Ives a try.
