I normally go for L'oreal Elnett hair spray as it is one that I have been using for years and I find it to be one of the best around. I decided to try the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Fixing Shine Hairspray as it was on offer along with the shampoos and conditioners and I had wanted to try it for a while.
Its usual price is around £5 so it is quite expensive but I have to say that I was really impressed with it and will definitely be purchasing again.

The hairspray not only gives hold but it also promises to bring out the multi tonal shine and richness of brown hair. It also contains UV to protect hair from the sun which I am starting to see in more and more hair care products.

This has to be one of the nicest smelling hairsprays out there and instead of smelling like a chemical factory it actually scented my hair in a lovely sweet smelling scent which I absolutely loved and would buy again just for that.
As well as smelling nice though it also did a fantastic job at keeping my hair in place even in strong winds and light rain.

Even though it was so good at keeping my hair in place it felt light on my hair and didn't weight it down or make it hard and brushing it out at the end of the day was easy and I was left with no white flakes or any other trace of it in my hair except for the lovely smell.

I also thought that this did a better job of making my hair shiny and bringing out the different tones to my hair than either the shampoo or conditioner did and when wearing it I could actually see my hair shimmering in the light.

Although it is more money than I would really like to be paying for a hairspray it is one that I shall definitely be buying again and can highly recommend to those of you who have brown hair either natural or dyed and who want to bring out its richness and shine without compromising on the hold.
