Advantages: Really enhances my hair colour and makes my hair feel soft and look shiny!

Disadvantages: It's pricey, but there's always offers on this range, keep an eye out!

Brilliant Brunette
**************

I am a huge fan of the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette range. The hair care range is aimed at brunette's and have everything from shampoo's and conditioners to serum's and spray's. John Frieda also caters for blonde's and redheads, noticeable by the colour scheme on all of the products.
I have always found the Brilliant Brunette range to be of an excellent quality, and using their shampoo's and conditioner's certainly enhances my natural colour, I've actually been complemented and asked if I'd had my hair dyed, even my hair dresser asked!

Luminous Glaze
*************

I was first given the Luminous Colour Glaze as a present one christmas from my Mother. She's also a huge fan of the range and assured me this stuff was brilliant. I hadn't actually heard of it before, so I was eager to give it a try.

Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze is actually a gel-creme formula that you use on your hair after your usual shampoo and conditioner. It aims to boost shine and add a hint of colour with 'multi-dimensional' shine and it says will give you 'dazzling' brown hair. The forumla is non-damaging ad contains Colour Illuminating Technology, blended with mild dyes and shine boosters. I should point out this stuff isn't a permanent hair colour, and doesn't contain any peroxides or ammonia, and it won't lighten your hair colour.

Packaging & Price
***************

The Luminous Glaze comes in a cream coloured bottle and is packaged inside a plastic container, as you can see in the image shown, and you get 190ml. It costs £6.84 so it is expensive, but it's one of the most expensive products in the range, if not the most expensive. However Boots have a 3 for £10 offer on the John Frieda range at the moment, so you could get 3 for £10 and save quite a bit of money!

Application
*********

The instructions direct you to apply this after you hae washed your hair, and squeezed out the excess. I then squeeze out a small amount onto my hand, rub my palms together and smooth evenly through my hair. The product itself is a strange gel, but it's a dark and shiny brown colour. You will find your hands ae brown afterwards but afte a quick wash they will be fine!
The instructions state to leave this in your hair for 3 minutes and that's exactly what I do. I usually wash my face and body without getting my hair wet whilst I let this get to work. Rinsing it out is very easy to do, the water doesn't run brown as this stuff isn't too strong, it's aim isn't to be an actual hair dye as some people mistakenly believe!

The Result!
**********

After blow drying my hair I notice it feels really soft, and it only feels this way when I've used the colour glaze. My hair is also shiny and my natural brown hair colour is really enhanced. I have been using this stuff for months now, and I often use it with the Brilliant Brunette Shampoo, which also really helps. I remember when I first started out using the colour glaze I didn't notice too much of a difference aside from the softness, but afte a few applications you really begin to notice the difference, especially when using with other products in the range!

Summary
*********

I can't recommend this stuff enough, if you have brown hair (dyed or natural!) then I do recommend the whole of the Brilliant Brunette in general, and this product fits in perfectly. It gives you lovely and soft, shiny hair and I certainly notice some nice tones of brown in my hair, and my colour just looks much better! It might be quite pricey, but there's often offers on the John Frieda range so it's silly to ever pay full price on their products. In my opinion, it's a must-have product for your hair!

Summary: Another brilliant product by John Frieda that really enhances your hair colour.
