Advantages: Great smelling

Disadvantages: Quite expensive

Being always on the lookout for next great shampoo and having heard some great things regarding John Frieda's range, I've decided to give there Brilliant Brunette Shine release range a try. The first thing to mention is the price, John Frieda is not a cheap brand and this shampoo is no exception at a hefty price of almost £5 from Boots. Secondly the packing does look sleek and professional, giving the feeling of buying a salon quality brand.
The actual shampoo does have a very pleasant fragrance and does stay in your hair for a good 24 hours after washing it, the shampoo is also thick and creamy but does seem to require a lot to build up into a good lather.
The big down side of this product I found was that it left my hair feeling a little bit heavy and did need a quite a bit of conditioner to leave me hair feeling soft.
In conclusion this shampoo is okay but it is a little bit pricey and not quite as good as I expected.

Summary: A good shampoo but not quite upto the hype
