Advantages: Leaves a nice scent on the hair, leaves hair manageable and in good condition.
Disadvantages: Quite pricey and difficult containers to open.
Shampoo...there are so many to choose and they vary so much in price!
When I recently visited my local Boots store I decided to opt for a different shampoo and when I saw that John Frieda had a 3 for 2 offer on I decided to stock up.

The shampoo I am reviewing is from the brunette range and they come in shades of Amber to Maple and Chestnut to Espresso, as I am a very dark brown I have the Chestnut to Espresso but if you are a blonde or red head then there is a range specifically for your hair colour too.
By picking the right shade to match your hair it will illuminate your hair making it shinier and healthier whether your hair is natural, highlighted or permanantly coloured.
I love the shampoo as the smell is delicious and I think it does smell almost chocolatey and what is nice is the smell stays on the hair when washed for at least 24 hours which I love!
The bottles come in 250ml upright tubes and they seem to last forever I wash my hair every other day and I have used only a fraction of the shampoo as it really gives a good lather and really looks after your hair, the volumising shampoo gives the hair a bit of ooomph so when you are styling it holds its style a lot better, I currently have a bob and when I dry my hair after washing I have to style the shorter layers underneath and normally as my hair is so thick the layer drops after an hour or so but the style holds a lot better with this product.
The shampoo contains cocoa bean extract as well as silk protein so that explains the smell of chocolate and the silky locks!
I purchased a bottle for £4.48 so getting 3 for 2 at Boots was a great saving.
Everytime I use this product my hair just looks in much better condition and it really feels clean. One problem I was having with my last brand of shampoo was that it left a lot of product build up no matter how many times I rinsed my hair but with this product less really is more and it is worth paying that little bit extra as it goes a long way.
I occassionally follow with the conditioner which smooths out any knots and helps my hair to stay more manageable.
My only complaint about his product is the tubes that it is sold in as when you have wet hands removing the flip lid can be really difficult and there have been many times where I have not been able to get the lid off and had to unscrew it and tip a little on my hair so there is a slight design fault there put the product itself I cannot fault.
Summary: I love this product it leaves me feeling fresh and ny hair in great condition.
