Advantages: Great scent, leaves hair shiny and soft.

Disadvantages: Difficult flip top lid is a letdown.

Brilliant Brunette is specifically designed for people with brunette hair of course and comes in a couple of different shades to cover all brunette colours (well, hopefully).

The bottle is 250ml and has a flip top lid. Normally I think these are a great idea but whether in the shower or the bath I find this particular bottle very difficult to open and I find it best to open it before getting in to the bath or shower and then flipping it closed again and this normally means that when I go to use it it's open a little or at least easier to open. The shampoo flows very easily and I use around a 50p sized dollop.

When the shampoo is in my hand I can see lots of light reflecting particles and these are glimmering in the light. This is what helps to make my hair look so shiny after use.

The smell is very fragrant but it's quite difficult to place a particular scent to this shampoo. It's kind of cocoa-ey and it's a very pleasant smell that stays with my hair throughout the whole day.

After just one usage my hair is lovely and soft and although I have the conditioner for this product I don't use it every time because it just doesn't need it.

I am a huge fan of this and the only real reason that I haven't been using this product so much recently is because my budget is tight and this is £4.34 per bottle in Tesco or Asda and for just 250ml I feel hard done by, although it is worth every penny! Asda currently have 3 for £10.00 on Brilliant Brunette products so if you do want to stock up, now is the time!

I am rating this product 4/5, the only thing letting it down is the difficult to open bottle as I don't want to be snapping off fingernails just to get some shampoo out. Other than that the product itself is absolutely fantastic and will give brunettes gorgeous, radiant hair that shines all day and smells amazing!
