Advantages: Maintains Straight Hair, Rids Frizz, Small Amount Required, Gives Smooth Hair, Pleasant Smell

Disadvantages: Expensive

I bought this shampoo along with the conditioner of the same brand. The combination keeps my hair in great conditioning, even with the use of hair straighteners. It helps to keep your hair strong, and as part of the 'frizz-ease' range, it helps combat frizzy hair to make it neater and more presentable. It also displays 'straight ahead' on the tube, which signifies the product's function to help preserve straight hair. It is a top of the range, professional product, which is available across supermarkets and beauty stores.

Like the conditioner, it comes in a tube, but this one is white with black, purple and grey writing. The 250ml tube cost me under £5.00, which isn't bad as it lasts quite long and you only need a very small amount of the shampoo for a good wash. The tube is long and leads down to the circular grey cap, which is very solid. The lid flicks open but when closed, it secures in a very stable position so it won't come open and leak your precious shampoo all over the place. You simply give the tube a light squeeze to release some of the shampoo. You only need a very small amount, so don't waste too much.

Your hair should be wet before you apply the shampoo so it really mixes in well and creates lovely foam in and around your hair. You only need a very small amount and it will start to foam up once it is rubbed into your hair. You should massage it into your hair, with circular movements to make sure you get it to the very roots of your hair as well. It's not necessary but I like to comb through my hair and leave it for a short while before washing it out and applying some conditioner.

It has a similar smell to the conditioner, which I wasn't too fond of, however this one smells a lot nicer without that slight unpleasant smell. It smells very light, fresh and has a slight floral essence. The actual shampoo is white and has a very silky and shiny look. It is a very smooth shampoo to start, which helps to give your hair a great condition. The lovely smell fills a hot shower when you apply this to your hair, and it gives your hair a really satisfying wash, leaving you feeling fresh and clean. You should use this shampoo perhaps 3 times a week, as too much use can actually be bad for your hair, as it dehydrates it. Overall, it's an excellent product, which does a first-class job. However, I haven't noticed any major differences in comparison to using a Garnier shampoo, which I used to use. To know your hair is getting the best treatment possible is the main reason I buy this product, as it keeps your hair in great condition and gives it strength too.

Thanks for reading,

Dan ©

Summary: A superb shampoo used for straight hair to rid of any frizz too
