Advantages: It does give volume, if only temporarily

Disadvantages: Greasy hair..errr

Having fine hair has always been an issue for me, although i never wanted thick bushy hair, a little bit more Umph would have been nice. All those nights you go out having spent hours hairdying and styling your hair to give it body, only to find that 10 minutes out of the door it is back to limp lifeless. When I came across the John Frieda spray which claims to give volume to thin lifesless hair as well as giving it shine i was very interested to give it a go. The John Frieda packaging is always quite attractive in its blue bottles with white writing, so i guess that hoped make my decision, along with his good name for hair care products.

The idea is that you dry your hair as normal, then spray some of this concoction onto your hair, they suggest that you scrunch your hair around a but and all of a sudden you should have volumous shiny hair...nice idea. I have to admit that the spray did work and it gave my hair volume, it was great to use to perk up my hair after a day in the office when i wanted to look remotely presentable at the pub. It does what it says in terms of volume, however I have other concerns.

This product left my hair feeling quite greasy and lifeless and i feel that i would rather have hair that looked clean and shiny with less life than the result of this product. I was dissapointed as it promised so much and did not deliver. I have now resorted to shaking my head madly upside down and then adding Schwarzkof (excuse spelling) wax in it, as it is light and non greasy, a much better option.
