... looking bottle titled, "Luminous Color Glaze/Clear Shine caught my eye. According to the back of the bottle, it stated that it was "Ammonia, dye and peroxide-free. Will not damage hair. Will not change hair color." I had previously heard of chemical shine treatments, and was happy that this product would not damage my hair. I decided to use the directions for "Weekly Treatments" which informs to to apply it to your hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. When that time is up you were to then wash it ...more

Premium Review John Frieda Luminous Color Glaze Clear Shine: Buy this to destroy the condition of your hair. (1440 words)

Not very often does any toiletry or cosmetic product get me all over excited any more. I mean I've seen it all on the shelves since I literally moved my life into Boots! I spend hours in this store, sniffing and testing stuff and when I'm not there I sit here reading about products or writing about them or reading glossy mags about stuff. Consumerism is everywhere lol So when at Christmas I was spending all my cash in Boots I was getting £2.00 off hair care vouchers to use against certain brands and my first purchase was this, 'John Frieda Clear Luminous Colour Glaze'. I'd always wanted to try it since I first saw it on the television but back when ...  Read the complete review

I got a 60ml sample of this product with the John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner I bought from Boots, so I can't comment on the normal sized version of this product or price. John Frieda is a good company where their products leaves your hair shiney, volumised, brighter etc. This product came in a nice bottle with the usual creamy coloured bottle which is usual for the blonde selection of products. This product is nice smelling and easily applied, which needs to be left in for 3 minutes. I am a big fan for John Frieda and so had high hopes for this product, where I wasn't dissapointed. It made my hair soft and untangly, with ...  Read the complete review

John Frieda Luminous Color Glaze Clear Shine: HORRIBLE PRODUCT (388 words)
by Maya - written on 26/09/09

Where do I even begin on this product? Just a couple of days ago I left the my favorite salon in town with a new hair cut, and was completely happy with the texture of my hair. I decided that instead of spending money of average shampoos and conditioners (such as Tresemme or Pantene), I was going to put forth a little more cash for more expensive hair products. I browsed the isle of Target and discovered a line of Shampoo/Conditioner/Serum by this brand called Organix, and after reading ingredients on the back of the bottles, I was ecstatic with the thought that using more expensive products would keep my hair in tip top shape. I looked up and to my left and ...  Read the complete review

Silky, Shiny, Tangle-Free Hair with concealed grays! (201 words)

This product costs $9.99 at Fred Meyer grocery store, but I think it is well worth the price. I have non-dyed, naturally dark brown hair with minimal gray. I use this product with every wash. It leaves my hair silky, shiny, tangle-free, and rich looking with a shot of color that masks my grays to appear more like the natural highlights that I have. I have healthy, non-damaged hair, so this product seems to work beautifully for me and I will continue to use and buy this product. I have also recommended it to friends who have said, "Is that why your hair is always so shiny?!" I adore this product and would give it 4 stars out of 5 only because I wish it ...  Read the complete review
