HORRIBLE PRODUCT (John Frieda Luminous Color Glaze Clear Shine)

Where do I even begin on this product? Just a couple of days ago I left the my favorite salon in town with a new hair cut, and was completely happy with the texture of my hair. I decided that instead of spending money of average shampoos and conditioners (such as Tresemme or Pantene), I was going to put forth a little more cash for more expensive hair products. I browsed the isle of Target and discovered a line of Shampoo/Conditioner/Serum by this brand called Organix, and after reading ingredients on the back of the bottles, I was ecstatic with the thought that using more expensive products would keep my hair in tip top shape.

I looked up and to my left and discovered the John Frieda Collection products and a nice looking bottle titled, "Luminous Color Glaze/Clear Shine caught my eye. According to the back of the bottle, it stated that it was "Ammonia, dye and peroxide-free. Will not damage hair. Will not change hair color." I had previously heard of chemical shine treatments, and was happy that this product would not damage my hair.

I decided to use the directions for "Weekly Treatments" which informs to to apply it to your hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. When that time is up you were to then wash it out of your hair with Shampoo and Conditioner.

When I applied to to my hair it had a glossy feeling, and I was excited by the fact that this product claimed to, "dramatically improve the texture for silky smoothness, without ever damaging hair."

After 20 minutes I jumped in the shower to wash the product out of my hair.

Not only after drying and styling my hair did I realize that my hairs texture was nothing close to shiny and smooth, I realized that the product had basically fried the ends of my freshly cut hair. I had to schedule an emergency appt. the next day and get almost an inch of hair cut off because my ends were so damages.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. IT'S HORRIBLE!

I only wish I had read an honest review like mine before ever using this product!

Summary: I WOULD NEVER TOUCH THIS PRODUCT AGAIN
