I started using this product because I was initially using John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, which I really loved, but I found that my fine, straight hair appeared quite flat and a bit limp with this. I loved the brand so much that I decided to try the Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner instead, which I have loved just as much!
The product smells nice and is a clear, thick liquid. While I did not notice the immediate effects you might with a mousse or root-boosting spray, the promise of this product is to make the hair seem thicker. Within a week or two of usage every other day, I had definitely noticed a difference in the feel and the appearance of my hair. It looked and felt thicker and healthier and much less limp. It wasn't just volume at the roots as you might get with shorter term, superficial products such as root-boosters or mousse.
