John Frieda Sheer Blonde Colour Renew Shampoo
This is a shampoo which promises to lighten hair with highlights. Well that is me and I am trying to reduce the amount of times I go to the hairdresser to have these renewed (unfortunately as anyone with blond highlights will tell you, these do have to be redone fairly regularly to avoid roots being too obvious). Because I am conscious that too much coloring leaves your hair dry, I am trying to have it done as little as possible. Also, let's face it, it is expensive and there is a credit crunch going on!
So, I saw the adverts for this shampoo and the matching conditioner and decided to try it. I must admit I almost changed my mind when I saw the price (around £5 per bottle from Boots) but convinced myself to give it a shot, and I am really glad that I did,
The colour is a deep shiny purple and you just wash as you would with any shampoo. From the first time I used these products, my hair felt brighter and it is also a fresh and pleasant smell leaving hair feeling clean and soft.
After using it for a couple of weeks, I definitely feel that there is a notable difference. In fact, 4 different people have asked me if I have just had my hair done, when it was actually almost 3 months ago. I am so confident in the effects of this product that I am going to try and wait another month before going to Saks again too, so the initial expense has actually saved me cash in the long run!
Would I recommend this? In a heartbeat!!
Summary: Well worth the money
