I have been using this product for a number of months now, having faith in the John Frieda collection of professional hair care I knew my money was going to be invested wisely in this lovely product!! Where From? This product as well as others in the range can be found in supermarkets and chemists. Mine was bought from Tesco, it can be found on special offer quite frequently which is excellent seeing as it is normally £4.50 - £5.00 ish. It comes in a mustard yellow shaped plastic tub with a screw top lid and contains 150ml of product inside. What Does It Do? On the packaging, its claims: nourishes and strengthens, restores dry damaged ... Read the complete review

I bought this along with the shampoo and conditioner in the same range as they were on a 3 for 2 offer in Boots. This intensive conditioner is usually £5.37 for a 150ml pot, which is not a bad price for this type of product. According to John Frieda this product is specially developed for blondes with his salon expertise, to nourish as it restores shine and texture. I tried both the Toni and Guy and Sheer Blonde ranges a lot and found some where better than others. A better one was the Sheer Blonde Hair Repair Intensive Conditioning Treatment. This is an intensive conditioning treatment which claims to "nourishes strengthens, restoring dry, damaged blonde to silky, manageable condition". Sheer Blonde state that it is "specially developed for blondes with our salon expertise" and "intensive formula with a tri-level protein complex bonds to ... Read the complete review

I have had mixed success with the John Frieda range. I used their blonding shampoos for a while, before giving them a rest. I think the ingredients do help maintain a brighter blonde, but the prices can be a bit offputting. Buying a shampoo and conditioner would usually cost me ten pounds. Another part of their range is the repair intensive treatment. It is is like a conditioner, only more heavy duty. It is designed for overly dry and damaged hair which has seen better days. Unfortunately, cold weather, radiators and a bad diet can play havoc with hair, so a good hair regime is vital in winter months. Sometimes, it is not enough to just shampoo and condition, ...
