Advantages: Smells Nice, Left Hair Feeling Very Soft, Keeps Blonde Bright

Disadvantages: Expensive, Doesn't Make Any Difference To Highlights.

I bought this shampoo when it was on offer shortly after having my highlights put in. I only bought the brand as it was on offer in Superdrug and I got the shampoo and conditioner for £4.

The packaging does look very up market and I was quite happy to leave the product sitting in the shower rather than hide it away in the drawer. The colour of the tube depends on what type of the conditioner you chose. I purchased the lightest 'Platinum to Champagne Blondes', which is in a very pale, almost golden tube. The tube has a snap close lid which is easy to use with wet hands.

The tube claims to contain 'illuminating minerals and nourishing proteins, so your hair attracts more light.' It also states that it will 'help you add strength, shine and amazing silkiness to your hair.' All good things should they work that way.

The conditioner is very creamy when you squeeze it onto your hand and you can actually see it sparkling where the light hits it. It smells lovely, somewhere between fruity and citrus-like but with neither being overpowering.

The instructions on how to use the conditioner are pretty much the same as any other. I applied it rather liberally as my hair gets quite dry during the winter months. Even before rinsing I could feel it softening my hair.

Once dry and despite having used two products since the conditioner, I could still smell the lovely fresh fragrance that it leaves behind. My hair felt fantastic and soft, but not as flyaway as some conditioners have left it, it even felt soft and clean for the next three days.

After using it for 5 months now, my hair is in great condition and it doesn't look as dull as it sometimes did 6-8 weeks after colouring. If you're looking for a dramatic change you're not going to get it from this, but it will maintain your bright and healthy blonde look.

I stock up when the product is on offer as I feel that £4.69 each for the shampoo and conditioner is far too pricey. I tend to buy at Boots when on offer to get those advantage points to put towards a free bottle.

Summary: Great conditioner but does the same job as a much cheaper brand.
