I bought this Sheer Blonde Conditioner along with the shampoo, as I felt that the blonde colour of my hair was looking a bit dull and yellow. This conditioner promised to maintain a pretty blonde shade that doesn't look yellow or washed out and this would also help bring out the lighter blonde highlights in the hair. I got the moisturising version of the blonde conditioner, as I felt my hair was quite dry and in need of extra moisture. What I noticed about this conditioner, was that it looked a blonde shade with pearl reflects in it. It's not runny but the consistency isn't very thick either. From an extra moisture conditioner, I expected it to be ... Read the complete review

The Sheer Blonde Highlight Activation Shampoo promised shiny, reflective tresses: that's what I got. The Funky Chunky texturising gel promised defined styles, diluted brassiness and no flyaway bits: that's what I got. The Spotlight Serum promised to highlight and calm: it did. The Spun Gold balm promised sleek strands and perfectly smoothed style: guess what? That's what I got. So you'd think after trying all these (and more, groans my bank balance) that the conditioner would do what it said on the tin. Well, tube. Did it? Naaaaaaaah. I have used (and still use) many John Frieda products. I like the Frizz Ease range, I love the Beach Blonde ... Read the complete review

This is my first review which i was inspired to write having read some rather negative reviews of a product i have grown to love and i decided it needed defending! Ok, so, details........ A self-confessed product junkie i have tried out nearly every brand of shampoo and conditioner out there! But i always seem to come back to this one....it really does brighten my colour and makes my hair feel really soft afterwards. It always looks much smoother and healthier having used this conditioner (i use it following the shampoo). I am a bit of a hair straightening addict and do so nearly every day and so like a product which i feel is nourishing my hair. ... Read the complete review

I would recommend this conditioner to girls who have healthy blonde hair to start with. The reason being that this is not an intensive conditioner and if your blonde tresses are damaged through bleach or heat styling you will probably need a more nourishing conditioner than this one. However this conditioner is great for healthy blondes. It really brings out the blonde highlights in your hair and adds great shine. It doesnt have alot of nourishing vitamins in it which more intensive treatments offer, just vitamin b5,which cheaper brands offer anyway so if its a really strong conditioner you want then this is'nt it.However if you want a colour enhancing treatment ... "John Frieda Highlight Enhancing Condidtioner" certainly brightens your blonde hair, but isn't a very strong conditioner. My hair has not been permed or dyed or damaged by heat, so I don't need intense conditioning. Someone else with damaged hair, however, may need a more powerful conditioner, perhaps one that moisturizes. The highlight enhancing conditioner makes highlights more visible and makes blondes blonder, and it also leaves my hair silky. But as I said, my hair doesn't need a whole lot of extra treatment, so I'm not sure if someone with dry hair would have the same results. I recommend this product for those ...
