I bought some if this John Frieda at Boots the other day for £4.79. You can also buy this online at boots.com or they also sell it in supermarkets and Superdrug stores.

This product is one of the many styling products available in the John Frieda Sheer Blonde range. I've tried some of their other stuff before and really like it so I expect this to be of excellent quality too.

This product is a balm specially formulated for blonde hair, to give it more shine, definition and help illuminate and define the high lights. To make your hair look like spun gold; hence the name of the product.

So this product comes in a little cardboard sleeve with some instructions about the product and inside, you'll find a little round gold coloured metal pot with the hair product inside.

The hair product is a gold coloured balm that you're meant to rub into the hair. It smells similar to all the other John Frieda Sheer Blonde stuff (I can't quite put my finger on it as it smells quite unusual) but the scent is very pleasant and not too heavy.

So I take a little amount of the balm and rub it in my fingers so it warms up (it needs to be warmed up in this weather as the balm get a bit harder when its colder) and then I run my fingers through my hair, concentrating on the outer layer because that's where I want the most shine and definition. You have to watch out that you don't apply too much as it might make the hair look too oily/ greasy or clumpy, which is not the look I'm going for.

These products do make a difference to blonde hair compared to other styling products, I find that with me, it really illuminates and makes the highlights stand out better. It gives a beautiful shine and just makes blonde hair more vibrant and lights it up, just makes it look amazing, healthy and sleek.
