Advantages: Brings out highlights

Disadvantages: A little pricey

This balm is designed for use on blonde hair, whether it be natural or colour treated. I have found it particularly brilliant on my highlighted hair.

The balm itself comes in what I would describe as a simple, yet modern, silvery-gold tin. It is gold in colour, and contains very fine sparkly bits. It a liitle bit on the pricey side (£3.95 for 35g), but it last for ages.

It says it should be used sparingly on dried and styled hair, to add shape, shine and glamour. It instantly gives hair a modern finish, and a sparkling, sun-kissed shimmer.

You have to warm the balm between your palms before you apply it to soften it up, and make it easier to run through your hair.

I have found that it is perfect for defining my blonde highlights, without making them look dull. It really makes the streaks stand out, and adds a lovely shine. It also smoothes out frizz, and is great for shaping curls. But do not get carried away, and add too much balm. It is best to use the least amount possible, and add more if you need to, or else your hair will end up looking greasy rather than glamourous.
