Advantages: heat protection, easy enough to apply

Disadvantages: makes hair and skin tacky if not combed through or washed out

I got some of this John Frieda Sheer Blonde healthy attitude spray because I was using loads of heated styling tools on my hair and it read on the bottle that this is a leave-in nourishing spray that also has heat protection worked in the formula.

This product looked ideal for dry, brittle bleach blonde hair that's had to withstand many curling and straightening sessions with heated tongs and irons. This looked ideal for me, I picked it up for about a fiver and I think it's for 250ml, which wasn't too bad, as I'd paid much more for other similar products at the hair dressers.

This stuff comes in a plastic bottle with a spray pump, the product inside is just a clear liquid that gets a bit tacky when you leave it on your skin to dry, so I'm thinking it would be best to comb through the hair as you don't want your hair to stick together in clumps.

This stuff smells just like all the other sheer blonde stuff and I felt that it left my hair feeling not as soft, that it coated it in some sort of harder plastic feeling layer... I'm not sure. Perhaps this is the heat protection kicking in.

Anyway, other than my hair feeling a bit different (less soft which is a bit on the downside), it seemed to have helped with heat protection and styling appeared ok. I don't know, until I see a more significant result with this spray, I'm not sure if I really like it or not.

Summary: im not sure if this stuff protects as well as other heat protection sprays
