I bought this recently after researching a large amount of well known shampoo/ conditioner brands (i.e. pantene, aussie, umberto giannini, toni and guy etc) and found that this appealed to me because of the professional use that they deploy in their own salons.
I don't have very thin hair, but after my last colouring, my hair has began to thin a little so I needed to use the right products and inject some volume back in.
I bought this after reading about it in some magazines and also as an alternative to Aussie which I felt was doing nothing apart from making my hair smell great.
After my initial use, my hair felt very well nourished and quite bouncy. However, the bouncy effect was only because I had used the JF Volume mousse after washing my hair, and then blow dried with a large round brush.
Even so, I have used this without using the mousse too, and then you can really see that I have hair that looks naturally volumised but not as polished as with the mousse of course.
Either way, I was very pleased I'd decided to try John Frieda, and now use nothing else for my hair. This shampoo cleans like a clarifying shampoo, and the conditioner detangles brilliantly but without weighing hair down. The mousse then just feels weightless and non- sticky so you don't actually realise you have something in your hair.
I can't get enough of it, and I hope every woman with a concern for thinning hair gives this a go.
