I have the type of hair that at times can be like candy floss, it's thick and frizzy and hard to keep straight especially when the weather is damp. Even though I use a conditioner every day and a deep conditioning treatment every week without fail I still have trouble with my hair from time to time and get sick of the straw like feeling it has.

I spotted a free sample of John Frieda Weather Works Creme in a magazine I had bought about a month ago and initialy I ignored it. Nothing I use on my hair is usually any good so I didnt think this would be any different. After a week and reading through the magazine again though I spotted the sample and thought ok lets give it a try, it cant hurt and it wont have cost me anything.

After washing and conditioning my hair as normal I towel dried it and applied a small blob of this to my damp hair, I smoothed it between my hands first to make it easier to apply all the way from the root to the tips. It felt smooth and silky and not at all sticky, so far so good. I used a large round brush whilst drying my hair and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my hair dried, a good 5 minutes faster than usual.

After drying and styling my hair it looked shiny and had quite a bit of bounce, it didnt look as flat as normal and smelt very pleasant too. I noticed that during the day my hair stayed looking as good as it did first thing that morning and I didnt need to sod about brushing my hair every half an hour or using extra produts in it.

I would recommend this if you have thick hair thats difficult to handle during damp weather. It works wonders on my hair and I wouldnt use anything else now to keep it under control. I dont know the price of this stuff as I received a free sample initially then my boyfriend bought me a bottle whilst doing some shopping in Boots, I would think this is worth every penny though for the results it gives.
