Advantages: Tames curls, easy to apply
Disadvantages: can make hair greasy
The jury is still out on this one for me, as there are definite plus points, but also several minuses too....I'll explain. This stuff comes in a pump action bottle, and is very clean to dispense, and doesn't particularly have a massively attractive smell, although it's not horrible. If it smelly gorgeous I might prefer it, who knows. You apply it to damp (not wet hair), it specifies that on the bottle, and rub in 1-2 blobs before you blow dry it straight, well that's the idea. So I followed the instructions one day, and although my hair's only really curly at the bottom of the hair shaft, I covered my head in product. True, it blow-dried very easily, and my hair was definitely less mad and flyaway at the tips, but the curls did reappear throughout the day, but they were definitely nicer, less mad and looking good. Downpoints though are that my hair really didn't feel very smooth to feel, and my fingers felt manky after i'd run them through my hair, which was really annoying. Also, my scalp became very greasy, which is unusual for me. Hence, I've taken to just using it on the tips now, which are curly. But if you do have curly hair from root to tip, you may find that this makes your hair greasy. Also, if i'm gonna use it, I don't tend to condition my hair, as the creme seems to do a good job of that too, and it's really easy to comb when wet, and it decreases the chances of my hair being greasy. All in all... Plus points... It tames curls. It's easy to apply. It can be used instead of conditioner. Down points... It can make your hair feel greasy. It doesn't make your hair poker-straight and curls tend to reappear especially in damp conditions. But, for 4 quid a go, what do you expect! I'd buy it again.
