Advantages: just what your hair needs
Disadvantages: may be expensive
I have been feeling pretty run down lately worrying about my IVF treatment so I thought I would treat myself to something nice in Boots. They never fail to tempt me with something, and Sure enough as I was browsing through the shelves I came across the John Frieda Frizz Ease, wind down relaxing creme. WHY? I HEAR YOU ASK (I CAN HEAR YOU) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well with all the different treatments I have been going through my hair felt pretty lack lustre so I reckoned this may be just what I was looking for. The only worry being that on the container it says step 4.LOL, I think I skipped a few there, but never mind. On closer inspection underneath that it says Style straight. Well that was for me all right as I have straight red hair but sometimes I get this kink in it that?s really annoying. Or I get out of bed and look like the wild woman of bornio LOL.(not funny) OKAY I CAN HEAR YOU (WAS IT EXPENSIVE?) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Surprisingly it was not as expensive as I thought it would be given that it was a John Frieda product, it did in fact cost me £3.99 IS IT WORTH A BURN'T HOLE THE MY POCKET? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well according to the instructions it is prescribed for dry frizzy-prone hair. Apparently if you have curly hair this relaxing creme stretches curls smooth as you blow dry. Ultra softening conditioning formula adds a shine as it smooths and straightens. Never sticky, stiff or flaky. The results last until next shampoo, well they should, mine did, but then again we are all different. The instructions say to apply it to damp not wet hair. Dispense about 1-2 pumps of creme onto hands, Use more or less depending on hair length. Work product through hair from roots to ends, Comb to distribute evenly. Do not rinse out for super sleek straight hair, blow dry and use a flat brush to keep the hair taut whilst doing so. Well that described my hair just great so all
I had to do was try it. I pressed the pump and dispensed a small blob of quite thick white creme into the palm of my hand and rubbed it into my scalp, it has a pleasant smell not an over powering one but gentle, just a nice perfumed soapy smell. It took two small blobs of creme to cover all my hair then I combed it through. At first it just looked damp, so I decided to blow dry it and the difference was remarkable. I had lovely shiny straight hair all traces of the annoying kink was gone. I should point out that if you wanted soft frizz free curls then dry it with a diffuser or let it dry naturally. Well I was well pleased with the creme and my only next worry was how to hide it from my sister, lol. The container sits nicely on any window sill it?s white with a pump action, and the bottom of the container has a small plastic cover which can be removed and when you think you are running short of the creme just push the bottom up similar to a lipstick action and the crème that?s left will come to the top. I happily recommend this, thanks for reading, Vicky.
