Johnsons detangler.

With a little miss who swims every week, and who also has quite unruly hair, we do notice a difference in hair manageability depending on whether we use detangler or not.

We have used the Johnson Junior products on many occasions, and I tend to find them effective, so we decided on a change from our usual detangler, to give this one a go.


~~What/Who is it for?~~

The detangler doesn’t come with any warnings about it being unsuitable for anyone, although the pull off top is small so careful with very young children.

It’s apparently for anyone who wants their wet or dry hair detangled. The formula gets to work straight away and unlocks knots and tangles…so the theory goes…

~~Product and Packaging~~

The product comes in a pink plastic bottle with a pull of top. Ingredients and instructions are clearly stated on the back of the bottle.

The product itself comes out of the bottle as a fine spray, once the spray mechanism is pressed. It smells very fruity, but the general consensus of opinion between Little Miss and myself is that the over riding smell is strawberries.

~~How to use it~~

There is a warning that the product is for eternal use, and that it should not be sprayed in the face. Once clear about that, then it’s remarkably simple to use. Simply spray onto the hair and then comb or brush as usual.

The detangler costs £1.99 FOR 150ml. It seems a small bottle but does last for ages because a little goes a long way.

~~What we think of it~~

Being an advocator of these type of products, and already liking the Johnson Junior products, it was highly likely that the verdict would be positive- which it is.

The detangler is easy to use and smells nice. I find the best way to use it is to spray a small amount lightly all over the hair, and then when it is combed through it can be distributed equally. The product does make hair more manageable, and we have no screeching fits, and no Little Miss hanging onto her head for dear life.

For a reasonably priced, pleasant smelling, easy to use detangler, I would recommend this.
