When my baby was born he had quite dark blonde hair but over the last few months its all fallen out and he has turned incredibly blonde, the colour most people die for. This is where a friend of mine recommended getting a shampoo to keep his hair blonde for as long as possible.

Browsing in my beloved Tesco at the baby toiletries shelf I came across Johnsons no more tears baby shampoo that contains camomile extracts. The shampoo set me back a pricey £1.89 but its a big 300ml bottle and I know this will last for absolutely ages when using on a baby so a good investment if he is not allergic to the ingredients.

The reason I chose this shampoo was because it contains the ingredient of camomile extract and that is supposed to help keep the light colour of hair and I like the fact that it is mild enough to use everyday on my son. It says on the cover that its a new improved no more tears formula and is as gentle to the eyes as pure water. Ideal for gently cleaning baby's delicate hair and scalp and is of course PH balanced.

The shampoo itself comes is a clear bottle with a green top and is the colour that you usually associate camomile with , a lovely honey colour.
It has the standard no more tears sticker on one side with the contents written on the back.

When you open the bottle and squeeze a small blob onto your hand it has a wonderful smell, reminds me of summer meadows. You do not need much to get a good lather going on the babies head so its excellent in that respect, i have used it everday for a month and the contents in the bottle has hardly been dented.
The shampoo washes out my baby's head very easily and does not leave a residue afterwards, it leaves his hair is incredibly shiny and soft and smells gorgeous.

Now I cant tell you at this stage wether it actually will keep his hair blond as he is too young at the moment but it cant do any harm using this to try!But It has a wonderful smell and I can sa
y his hair is in lovely condition since using it. I shall definately buy this again. A recommendation for all you natural blondes out there!
