No more tears (Johnson's Baby Shampoo)

This is a very mild shampoo with no tears formula that comes in a large see through bottle with a yellow liquid.

****My experience****

I got this shampoo from a friend when she came to see my baby girl. I had used this shampoo when I was a young but didn't use it on my new born as I was already using the Mothercare shampoo for her. The bottle of Johnson's baby shampoo has been sitting on the cupboard shelf for 3 months until today. I'm having sore eyes right now :( and didn't want to use any strong shampoo for my hair so I got out the Johnsons baby shampoo and used it today.

I must say that I have quite long and thick hair so I needed quite a bit of shampoo. The shampoo is a yellowish thin liquid that lathers up to a nice white froth. The smell is really good, it's a very mild smell yet so lovely. The shampoo washes off easily and you don't have to worry about getting it in your eyes as it has a tear free formula :)


****The appearance****

It comes in a large see through plastic bottle with a yellow flip top cap. It has a tear shaped label on front (wonder why it has a tear shaped label when it is a tear free shampoo!). And a oval shaped label at the back with the information on how to use it (which is pretty much the same as any shampoo you would use), ingredients, warnings, where it is made etc. The bottle looks attractive specially because of the golden colour shampoo.


****What I like about the product****

- It smells lovely
- Makes hair feel soft and nice
- Tear free formula
- The nice appearance of the bottle and the shampoo (I always like my shampoo bottles to look nice. When it looks nice it makes me want to use it more often, as I usually have many shampoos in my bathroom)


****What I dislike about it****

- I had to use a little more quantity of the shampoo that I usually use
- Might be slightly too mild for grownups, but I can't complain as it is a baby shampoo


****Will I buy it or use it again****

Yes I will use it again on myself only when there are instances like now what I need something mild to use. But for my kids I will use it again. For my eldest who is two years now, I might start using it when the current shampoo finishes. But for my second who is 4 months old I will continue to use the shampoo she is already using as she has very sensitive skin and don't want to introduce anything new for some time.


****Recommendation****

As I have not personally used the products on my kids I can't comment much on how good it is for kids, but from what I remember I used to love this as a kid specially the smell. And I remember my nieces using it and my sister didn't have any complains. Unlike the other Johnson's products I don't think this is that great to be used by adults.
