Advantages: Not just for babies but for adults to
Disadvantages: None
I have used Johnson's Baby shampoo since my twin boys were born (and before actually), they are 1 on Friday and I still use it. I admit I have even used it on myself. You can buy Johnson's baby shampoo in most highstreet stores such as Boots, Superdrugs and your major supermarkets including Asda, Tesco's, Sainsburys and also your local Chemists. You can purchase it in 100ml, 250ml bottles and 500ml bottles.
When using it before I used it on myself, now I know you can buy these deep conditioning treatments for your hair when its coloured, damaged, dry etc mine is all 3, I also suffer with Dandruff and although other shampoos come highly reccomended on adverts to rid you of dandruff I have found Johnson's Baby Shampoo works best for myself. I have used it as if using a deep conditioning treatment, firstly soaking my hair in water, then lathering my hair up with the shampoo, I then leave it in for a good half hour or so. (Smells lovely by the way) After half and hour I'd rinse it out and my hair would be left silky soft, with a clean smell and dandruff would be gone. Well most anyway, I swear by it so there was no doubt I'd be using it on my babies when they were born.
Now if your not familiar with the packaging or you are looking to go try it for the first time for yourself or for you little one then it's not hard to miss on a shelf. Its in a tear shaped bottle, Johnson's is boldly printed on the front and its a bright yellow colour, or mustardy? maybe like honey! It's a bright colour anyway, so not hard to miss. Now I buy mine in Boots mostly so I know it costs roughly £2.60 for the big bottle (500ml) and 99p for a 100ml bottle being the mini one I think. Or you can buy the Camomile version which has a gree top and green around the labelling on the front, but you can tell the difference easily. There is also Detangling shampoo by Johnson's which is Pink, so again no problems in finding the one you are after. Although a few different types of Johnson's Baby Shampoo, none of them state what 'type' of hair they are made for, so I assume anybody can use it. I know people who have used it for dry scalps, to help rid cradle cap from their babies, and like myself try rid Dandruff.
Now it claims on the bottle that it contains the "No More Tears Formular", I find this to be true, although I've never purposely put it in my eyes or my twins to find out, none of us have had any problems so far with it dripping in our eyes. I have obviously used other shampoos of different brands and when they have dripped in my eyes my eyes have become sore and red, but my eyes are quite sensitive anyway.
I reccomend this shampoo to anybody who of course has a baby, as it clearly states on the bottle "Johnson's Baby Shampoo", and to any adult who has greasy, dry, dirty, damaged, coloured hair. I believe it will leave anyone's hair feeling fresh and clean.
Summary: A Lovely shampoo for out little ones and us
